Third Edition: A Handbook for Directors of Regulated Financial Services Companies in Ireland, in association with McCann FitzGerald
In many financial services firms, the role of director – critical to success and, in some cases, to the survival of the business – has never been more onerous.
McCann FitzGerald and the Institute of Directors in Ireland published the first edition of this Handbook for Directors of Regulated Financial Services Companies in Ireland in 2012.
The IoD partnered with the Irish Tax Institute and Small Firms Association to launch a new guide to help over 200,000 employers across Ireland to get ready for the biggest change in Revenue’s payroll reporting and compliance regime in almost 60 years.
Drawing on the principles of the revised Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies (August 2016), Governance for Directors on State Boards, produced together with Mazars, is designed to offer an accessible overview for the boards of State bodies and to offer practical guidance to directors serving on State boards on their role and responsibilities.
The third edition of the Directors’ Handbook, produced together with McCann FitzGerald, is now available. Incorporating directors’ duties under the Companies Act 2014 and reflecting company law up to January 2018, the third edition Directors’ Handbook is a comprehensive guide for directors and boards in Ireland.
