How Board Membership Works

Managing Board membership is simple. Typically, one person - often the Company Secretary - handles the process on behalf of the board.

• Getting started is easy. Just contact the IoD Ireland Membership team below, to request an application form and enrol your board members. Once approved, each board member receives a welcome pack with clear, step-by-step guidance to activate their membership.
• One invoice. Total simplicity.  All board members are covered under a single, consolidated invoice-making administration efficient and straightforward. Existing IoD members can be seamlessly integrated by aligning billing dates - no need to reapply.
• Flexible as your board evolves. When a director steps down, simply nominate a replacement. Departing members can continue their IoD Ireland journey individually if they wish.
