State Boards is part of the Public Appointments Service, the centralised provider of recruitment, assessment and selection services for the Civil Service, Local Authorities, the Health Service Executive, An Garda Síochána and public bodies. The aim of State Boards is to identify qualified candidates in an open and transparent way, and to support the Irish Government and clients to deliver high-quality governance and accountability through the appointment of diverse, talented and committed board members who reflect the diversity of the society it serves.
