Yesterday evening, IoD Ireland hosted its New Members’ Networking Event at The Dean Hotel in Dublin. The event facilitated the opportunity for new members to connect, share insights, and explore the benefits of IoD Ireland membership.
IoD Ireland CEO Caroline Spillane CDir opened the event by reaffirming IoD Ireland’s 30-year commitment to supporting and connecting directors, leaders, and entrepreneurs. She highlighted the organisation’s focus on innovation, lifelong learning, and governance excellence, inviting new members to embrace the opportunities and resources that come with IoD membership. Caroline also talked about the importance of utilising the networking aspect of IoD Ireland membership which provides members with the opportunity to expand knowledge, share experiences, and strengthen success in governance.
The format featured interactive small-group networking sessions, designed to help participants share experiences and expand their professional circles. IoD Ireland’s Membership Team was on hand throughout the evening to offer guidance on maximising membership value - from building a personal brand to unlocking board-level opportunities.
The atmosphere was warm and engaging, reflecting IoD Ireland’s commitment to fostering a dynamic community of directors.
Looking Ahead
