This project has been developed specifically for the engagement and participation of the Chartered Director Communities of Ireland and Northern Ireland, and the students of Creative Futures Academy. The Institute of Directors in Ireland is doing this project in collaboration with the Institute of Directors Northern Ireland and the Creative Futures Academy.
Through the Creative Ireland Initiative and the Shared Island Fund, the Chartered Director Communities on the Island of Ireland have been identified as having significant potential to bring influence to bear in boardrooms across Ireland and to assist with the challenge presented to us by the climate emergency.
In this programme, which will run across 2024, Chartered Directors will work with students from Creative Futures Academy (CFA) to generate dynamic and creative solutions that can meaningfully address the complex environmental and social challenges that we currently face as a result of climate change. The goal is to harness the intergenerational expertise and collective imagination of Ireland’s Chartered Director and CFA student communities. The initiative will combine collaborative workshops, expert sessions and peer mentoring and will deliver a series of roadmaps for change.
Creative Boardroom is now seeking Chartered Directors participation in the project.
