Business Leaders Gather for Annual IoD Summer Networking Reception

The highly anticipated Summer Networking Reception was held at the elegant Terrace of the Conrad Hotel, Dublin 2. It brought together a vibrant community of directors, senior executives, and governance professionals for an evening of meaningful connection and conversation. Members enjoyed a relaxed yet purposeful atmosphere, where new relationships were forged and existing ones strengthened. The event offered a unique opportunity for attendees to expand their professional networks, exchange insights, and engage with peers from across Ireland’s business landscape.

The event was opened by IoD Ireland President Helen Nolan who welcomed members to the annual IoD Ireland Summer Networking Reception. In her welcome address Helen encouraged members in attendance to connect and reconnect with colleagues. She also took the opportunity to welcome new members, thank long standing members for their continued support, and congratulate members who recently passed their Certifcate and Diploma in Company Direction exams, a key component of the Chartered Director Programme. 

In her address, Caroline Spillane CDir, Chief Executive Officer, IoD Ireland, thanked members for their continued engagement and support, which helped lead to IoD Ireland being named ‘Best Institute of the Year’ at the Association and Institutes Awards this past year. Caroline also took the opportunity to thank the IoD executive for their continued work to support and deliver for IoD Ireland members.
