We are delighted to announce that the Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate exhibition will come to the Leading in Governance Conference, on 16th October 2025.
The Conference is an exclusive IoD Ireland member-only event, designed for C-suite leaders, Chairs, and Non-Executive Directors. It brings together experienced boardroom leaders to explore competitiveness and address the latest trends and challenges facing organisations, business leaders, and boards today.
Exhibition
The Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate exhibition has already captured the attention of government departments, public bodies, businesses, and board directors. Designed using sustainable design principles, the exhibition addresses four critical climate domains - food, transport, textiles, and the built environment - making complex issues accessible and actionable for decision-makers.
The exhibition will take place in the networking space of the Conference allowing members to engage with the installation, and ask the Creative Boardroom team direct questions on the day.
Recent iterations of the exhibition included Grand Central Station, Belfast (18 August–1 September, in partnership with Translink), and Invest Northern Ireland’s headquarters (1–22 September). It is set to showcase at other high-profile venues across the island.
Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate Project
Taking an intergenerational approach, the Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate project aimed to generate dynamic and creative solutions that can address complex climate challenges. Phase 1 of this pioneering all-island collaboration brought together the Institute of Directors Ireland, the Institute of Directors Northern Ireland and Creative Futures Academy in 2024, with the shared ambition to create actionable solutions for our planet. In Phase 2 of this project Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate have taken these learnings on tour, as part of this powerful exhibition in 2025, with new partner Forvis Mazars and supported through The Shared Island Fund, mobilising directors and organisations across the island of Ireland to take action on climate change.
