Overview

As part of our Chartered Director Programme Alumni series, we are delighted to invite you to our upcoming event, ‘What Boards Should Know from the COO’.

This special event hosted by the Central Bank of Ireland, is taking place from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Thursday, 11th September 2025.

Our expert speaker line-up includes: Marcella Flood CDir, Chief Operations Officer, Central Bank of Ireland; Ger Perdisatt, Experienced COO and Board Advisor; James Tone, Chief Operating Officer, Aon Ireland; and Davina Saint CDir, Experienced Chair and Independent Non-Executive Director.

This event will explore how Boards can work more effectively with Chief Operating Officers (COOs) to drive strategy, build operational resilience, and strengthen governance. As organisations face growing complexity and evolving risks, the COO role is becoming central to ensuring stability, agility, and performance.

Our panel of experienced executives and board members will share practical insights on what effective engagement looks like and how Boards can harness the COO perspective to inform oversight, strategy, and transformation.

This event is exclusive to the Chartered Director Programme Alumni, as part of our support to this community.
