Selling a Business: Key Insights for Directors

12 March 2026 9:30am

Join us for our Briefing webinar titled, ‘Selling a Business: Key Insights for Directors’. This session will outline the key steps directors should consider when navigating the sale of a business. Taking place from 9:30am - 10:30am, on Thursday, 12th March 2026.

For many boards, a trade sale, investment round, or strategic exit can be one of the most consequential decisions they will ever make. Yet directors often face these processes without clarity on valuation drivers, buyer expectations, governance responsibilities, or the commercial realities behind the negotiation.

Our expert speakers for this session will be Kevin Neary CDir, Non-Executive Director and Entrepreneur, and John Bowe, Corporate Finance Partner at Forvis Mazars. Kevin will draw on his own experience of successfully selling his business, offering directors a first-hand perspective on the challenges and opportunities involved in preparing for and completing a sale. And John will share practical, real-world insights from over 15 years advising Irish companies and shareholders on M&A, trade sales, IPOs, and strategic transactions.

Designed for Non-Executive Directors, executive leaders, and owners preparing for or considering a future transaction, this briefing will offer grounded guidance on how directors can add real value before, during, and after the deal.

Exclusive to members. This webinar is part of the IoD Briefing Series: Designed for Directors, sponsored by Forvis Mazars.
