Ireland’s 2026 EU Presidency

Matheson LLP, Penrose Dock, Cork

In Collaboration with Matheson LLP

Join us at our upcoming in-person event in Cork exploring Ireland’s 2026 EU Presidency, held in collaboration with Matheson LLP. The event will take place at Matheson LLP, Penrose Dock, Cork, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.

This timely event will examine the likely priorities of Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union and explore what they will mean for business leaders and directors across Ireland. Insights will be provided by a panel of expert speakers, to be announced, who will share perspectives on the opportunities, challenges, and strategic implications of Ireland’s role at the heart of the EU decision‑making process.

With Ireland last holding the Presidency in 2013, this event offers a valuable opportunity to gain insight into the influence and responsibilities that lie ahead - and what they mean for organisations operating in an evolving European landscape.

The evening will conclude with an exclusive member networking session, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with fellow members, peers, and senior leaders in a relaxed setting, and to continue the conversation over refreshments.
