Mary Brennan CDir Independent Non Executive Director and Chair
Mary Brennan CDir is a Chartered Director, Certified Investment Fund Director, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. In a career spanning over 30 years, Mary has worked in Dublin and New York in audit for KPMG, led the global internal audit function in Elan plc. and developed a blue-chip portfolio of non-executive director roles. She is a highly experienced Independent non-executive director and currently holds the position of chair of the board, chair of the audit committee, chair of the risk committee, and chair of the remuneration committee in her portfolio of financially regulated directorships. Mary previously served on the boards of FBD insurance Plc, BNP Paribas Ireland, Atradius Reinsurance DAC, Macquarie Capital Ireland, the Social Finance Foundation, and Microfinance Ireland. Mary is also the IoD Ireland Faculty lead on our dedicated workshop titled, ‘The Remuneration and Nomination Committee’.
Brenda Finn Guest Speaker
Brenda Finn is a seasoned Business Psychologist, bringing over 35 years of expertise across all areas of Human Resource management. Her career has spanned several leading multinational companies, including Diageo, Intel, Primark, and DS Smith, among others. Brenda’s roles have ranged from local to international and global capacities, supporting organizations through various phases such as start-up, restructuring, downsizing, transformation and growth, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Recognized for her deep expertise, Brenda specializes in talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and change management. She is highly regarded for her ability to drive business performance through effective organizational and people strategies. Brenda now works with SMEs on a fractional basis, leveraging her extensive experience with major corporations to foster their growth and development. In addition, she serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Mid West Simon Community.

Places are confirmed upon full payment. Cancellations with a full refund are accepted in writing to [email protected] until Wednesday, 11th February 2026. After this date, no refunds are possible, and all fees are forfeited for cancellations or non-attendance.
