Testimonials
The programme material was relevant to the Credit Union sector and the presenters were clearly experts in their field and excellent communicators. I found the breakout sessions valuable as a means of learning from other participants.
While the programme was demanding of time and concentration, it provided much food for thought and action and a valuable resource library for future reference. Overall, it was a great learning experience and I would recommend to colleagues without hesitation.

- Mark Higgins, Board Member, St. Canice's Kilkenny Credit Union Ltd
I thoroughly enjoyed completing the Director Development Programme delivered by the Institute of Directors Ireland and the ILCU. The sessions provided insights into governance, financial management, Board and committee responsibilities, and achieving success. It reinforced my understanding, developed my knowledge, challenged my thinking, and made me look positively to my future as a volunteer Director.
The content was delivered professionally and the organisation of sessions and circulations was excellent. The programme also allowed me to connect with fellow volunteers in the credit union movement across Ireland which proved motivating and informative. As a Credit Union Director with 13 years' experience, I would recommend the programme to all volunteer Directors - you will learn and connect, and your credit union will benefit.
