IoD Galway Briefing: Tax and Commercial Planning for SMEs - 20 Things Every Director Should Know

Join us for this IoD Briefing in Galway, with Paul Mee, Tax Partner, Mazars, who will discuss the 20 Things Every Director Should Know when tax planning for and structuring SMEs.

In his talk, Paul will identify the challenges, opportunities and issues facing SMEs in the west of Ireland, and how having a clear tax and commercial strategy is essential to ensure the future success of a business.

Paul Mee

Tax Partner, Mazars

Paul Mee is a partner in Mazars Galway. Paul is a chartered accountant with more than 20 years' taxation experience. 

He leads Mazars Galway's team of tax professionals in providing advice on tax planning for owner-managed businesses, including succession planning, employee retention and corporate structure

Paul also specialises in corporate reorganisations and due diligence and transaction support. He has in-depth knowledge of the Galway business community, which is an invaluable asset to companies in the west. 

Paul is an active member of the arts, business and stem communities in Galway. He is Chairperson of the Galway Science and Technology Festival and supports the annual Galway Film Fleadh Festival.
