IoD Evening Briefing - Preparing Yourself for The Boardroom

10 May 2018 5:00pm

Dan Flinter will share his experience in recruiting non- executive directors for a range of boards, both private sector and not for profit. His perspective starts from an understanding of the boards’ own requirements and identifying prospective directors whose experience and expertise meet the criteria. He will discuss the need for both parties to establish the quality of the “fit” for both the company and the prospective director.

Rose McHugh will discuss how to become board-ready and what you should consider before you join a board. Rose will advise on how to evaluate yourself for a board role, and will share her experiences of joining boards as a non-executive director across a number of sectors, from State boards to private entities. Rose will also give her insights on due diligence which should be undertaken before joining a board.

Registration

Registration will take place from 5.00pm with the briefing beginning at 5.15pm sharp, followed by Q&A and refreshments.

Places will be allocated on a first come basis.
