Carol Bolger is a Chartered Director (C Dir), a Certified Bank Director and a highly skilled non-executive director. She is an experienced Assessor with the IoD’s Board Evaluation Service where she also undertakes bespoke governance training. She has 30 years' Corporate & Business Banking expertise gained in Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank where she held senior roles including Chief Operating Officer and Director of Strategy & Planning. Carol is currently a Board Member of: An Post, the Coombe Women and Infants University Hospital and the Health & Safety Authority. She is also a member of the Audit Committee of the Department of Justice and Equality. Carol is an experienced Audit Committee and Finance Committee Chair and has successfully chaired governance and risk reviews.

She holds qualifications in Finance, Strategy and Innovation (UCC) and has an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.  She is a Fellow and a former Council Member of the Institute of Banking where she held the position of Vice President in 2005.

IoD workshops may be eligible for CPD, including Chartered Director CPD, please check with your relevant professional body. IoD workshops are admissible as part of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) CPD Scheme and would count towards “Active” learning. Workshops may also be eligible for CPD with Chartered Accountants Ireland, the Law Society of Ireland and the Institute of Banking. Places can only be confirmed on receipt of full payment. Cancellations will be accepted if received in writing by Thursday, 15th March 2018. However, there will be a 50% cancellation charge. All fees are forfeited thereafter. Workshop fees are also non-transferrable.
