This one-day workshop entitled Corporate Culture – Practical Implications for Directors, Boards and their Stakeholders will be presented by Carol Bolger, Chartered Director, and Marie Collins, Chartered Director.

Chartered Director
Carol Bolger is a Chartered Director CDir, a Certified Bank Director and a highly skilled non-executive director. She is an experienced Assessor with the IoD’s Board Evaluation Service where she also undertakes governance training, and is a facilitator on the Developing Board Performance Module of the Chartered Director Programme.
Carol is a board member of An Post, the Health & Safety Authority, Link Asset Services Ireland Ltd and the Coombe Women and Infants University Hospital. She chairs several board sub-committees including: Audit, Risk, Finance and Safety. Carol was recently appointed as a member of the audit committee of the Department of Agriculture Food and Marine.
She holds qualifications in finance, strategy and innovation (UCC), and has an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
Chartered Director
Marie Collins is a Chartered Director CDir, and a highly skilled non-executive director across a range of sectors. She is a board and Audit & Risk Committee (A&RC) member of IPUT Plc, Bank of Ireland General Investment Trust and Eco Unesco, where she chairs the A&RC. She is a trustee of Trinity College Dublin Foundation where she chairs the A&RC and is a member of the A&RC of the Communications Regulator. She was previously a director of the Irish Association of Pension Funds, which she also chaired.
Marie is an experienced governance trainer and facilitator to boards in both the public and private sector. Marie also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Governance from UCD and a MBA from Trinity College, Dublin.
IoD workshops may be eligible for CPD, including Chartered Director CPD. Please check with your relevant professional body. IoD workshops are admissible as part of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) CPD scheme and would count towards “Active” learning. Workshops may also be eligible for CPD with Chartered Accountants Ireland, the Law Society of Ireland, the Institute of Banking, the Insurance Institute of Ireland, and the Life Insurance Association. The workshop cost is €425 ex VAT for IoD members/€485 ex VAT for non-members.
Places can only be confirmed on receipt of full payment. Cancellations will be accepted if received in writing by Tuesday, 8th October 2019. However, there will be a 50% cancellation charge. All fees are forfeited thereafter. Workshop fees are non-transferable to other workshops.
