Workshop on Chairing the Board - Galway

This one-day workshop on Chairing the Board - Galway will be delivered by Chartered Director, Helen Keelan.

This workshop will provide participants with a deeper understanding of the critical role of the Chair as well as a better as understanding of the delineation of the roles of the CEO and the Chair of the Board.

Helen Keelan has 25 years of senior finance and strategic leadership experience gained in KPMG, Ericsson and Intel. She is familiar with the challenges both of restructuring and of scaling companies globally. She is an experienced non-executive director and is currently Chair of the board of Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, and is a non-executive director on the Boards of PM Group Ltd, Liberty Insurance Ltd and Standard Life International Ltd. Helen holds a B.Comm; an M.Sc in Mgmt, and she is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. She is also a Chartered Director.

IoD workshops may be eligible for CPD, including Chartered Director CPD, please check with your relevant professional body. IoD workshops are admissible as part of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) CPD Scheme and would count towards “Active” learning. Workshops may also be eligible for CPD with Chartered Accountants Ireland, the Law Society of Ireland, the Institute of Banking, and the LIA. Places can only be confirmed on receipt of full payment. Cancellations will be accepted if received in writing by Monday, 8th May 2017. However, there will be a 50% cancellation charge. All fees are forfeited thereafter. Workshop fees are also non-transferrable.
