CANCELLED - Workshop on Getting Yourself Board Ready

As a consequence of the continuing uncertainty surrounding the public health impact of COVID-19, we have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel the workshop entitled ‘Workshop on Getting Yourself Board Ready’ with Carol Bolger CDir, Chartered Director. The workshop was due to take place on Thursday, and 2nd April at 09:00-16:30 in the Irish Management Institute, Sandyford Road, Dublin 16. 

We will be issuing refunds for all places booked and paid for and will be in contact in due course in relation to this.  IoD Ireland very much regrets any inconvenience caused to our members and wishes to apologise for the short notice.  This workshop will be rescheduled and added to our Autumn Workshop Programme. We will of course keep you updated on new dates for this and any other IoD training events requiring rescheduling.

Carol Bolger is a Chartered Director (CDir), a Certified Bank Director and a highly skilled non-executive director. Carol is an experienced Assessor with the IoD’s Board Evaluation Service, where she also undertakes governance training, and is a facilitator on the Developing Board Performance Module of the Chartered Director Programme.

Carol is a board member of An Post, the Health and Safety Authority, Link Asset Services Ireland Ltd and the Coombe Women and Infants University Hospital. She chairs several board sub-committees including: Audit, Risk, Finance and Safety. Carol is also a member of the Audit Committee of the Department of Agriculture Food and Marine.

She holds qualifications in finance, strategy and innovation (UCC), and has an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
