A Handbook for Directors of Regulated Financial Services Companies in Ireland, in association with McCann FitzGerald

In many financial services firms, the role of director – critical to success and, in some cases, to the survival of the business – has never been more onerous. The second edition Handbook for Directors of Regulated Financial Services Companies in Ireland, produced together with McCann FitzGerald, is now available and sets out in clear terms the general duties of directorship, as well as the considerable additional requirements in performing that role in a regulated financial services company. It also incorporates directors’ duties under the Companies Act 2014.

The publication draws together best practice in corporate governance and outlines directors’ responsibilities under the Central Bank’s corporate governance codes and fitness and probity standards.

As well as dealing with business pressures which are particularly acute in the financial services sector, directors of those firms have the added challenges of familiarising themselves with this series of codes and standards and this publication is therefore, a valuable resource.

A complimentary copy of A Handbook for Directors of Regulated Financial Services Companies in Ireland is available to all members. A fee of €10 per copy (incl p&p) applies to additional copies or to non-members.
