CANCELLED- IoD Morning Briefing: Cyber Security - A Top Priority for Boards

As a consequence of the continuing uncertainty surrounding the public health impact of COVID-19, the Morning Briefing ‘Cyber Security - A Top Priority for Boards’, with Sarah Hipkin, Director, Data Protection, Mazars, has been cancelled. The event was due to take place on Thursday, 26th March at 07:30 in the Westbury Hotel.

Sarah Hipkin

Director, Data Protection, Mazars

Sarah Hipkin is a Director in the Mazars Ireland Data Protection Practice. Sarah has 20 years’ experience working in cyber security, privacy and data governance in the USA, Asia, Australia and Europe.

Before joining Mazars, Sarah was the Head of Privacy and Security for Woolworths Group, Australia, with its 200,000 employees. At various points, she acted as the Chief Information Security Officer. Her remit included running the security operations centre, managing cyber security incident response, and breach management. This was a high-pressure environment that required immediate responses to fraud and security attacks. Before joining Woolworths, Sarah worked for PwC Australia and was responsible for conducting security and privacy reviews and implementation across many clients in various industries. These reviews were based on ISO27001 and NIST standards. 
Sarah combines her strong technology background with training in behaviour analysis which helps organisational change, developing plans that will be accepted and implemented and thinking through the human risks associated with an environment.
