Overview

We are delighted to invite you to join our in-person Briefing with David Kirwan, Head of Technology, Accenture, on ‘Technology Trends Business Leaders Need to Know for the Future of Work’, in The Westbury Hotel, on Thursday, 17th November 2022.

Technology and business go hand in hand, and never has that been more obvious than when lockdowns hit, necessitating millions of people around the world to lean even more heavily on technology to try and work through it remotely. Caroline Spillane, Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Directors in Ireland, will moderate this discussion with David. This conversation will address what trends business leaders and chief information officers (CIOs) need to be aware of for the future of work. It will also address the scepticism and hesitation surrounding the Metaverse, how it will affect Irish businesses, and how to prepare for this next wave of change and opportunity in the workplace.

Please note, there will be a facilitated Q&A after David's discussion.

The IoD Briefings Series is sponsored by Accenture.

This event is exclusive to IoD Ireland members and is free of charge.
