Overview

We are delighted to invite you to join our upcoming Lunch Bites @ the IoD webinar with Marguerite Sayers, Deputy CEO, ESB, and Chair, ESB Networks, from 12:00pm-1:00pm, on Thursday, 10th November 2022. 

In this Lunch Bites @ the IoD webinar, Marguerite will discuss the current energy crisis. She will provide an overview of the current Irish energy grid/infrastructure, as well as commenting on the future planned investment in this area. Marguerite will also speak about the Government’s Climate Action Plan and its targets, and the role of businesses in achieving these targets.

Deputy CEO, ESB, and Chair of ESB Networks

Marguerite Sayers is Deputy CEO of ESB, and Chair, ESB Networks. Marguerite was previously Executive Director of Customer Solutions at ESB, and Managing Director of ESB Networks Ltd. 

An electrical engineer by profession, she has worked in various technical and managerial positions in ESB including Customer Service Manager and Head of Asset Management in ESB Networks. She was also Generation Manager in Generation and Wholesale Markets. She has a degree in Electrical Engineering from University College Cork (UCC), a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from University of Limerick and a Diploma in Project Management from UCC.
