Is Cultural and Societal Change Being Underestimated by Brands and Businesses?

The Grafton Suite, The Westbury Hotel, Dublin 2

IoD Briefings Series: sponsored by Accenture

We are delighted to announce that our next in-person Briefing on Thursday, 10th March, in The Westbury Hotel, will address the fascinating topic of cultural and societal change, and present the very real implications for your business and brand. The event will be presented by Emma Sharkey, Chief Strategy Officer, Rothco part of Accenture Interactive, and Darius Pasalar, Head of Planning, Rothco part of Accenture Interactive.

This presentation will be based on the 2022 change report ‘Anarchist in Slippers’ by Rothco, part of Accenture Interactive. The report explores the significant disruption that has occurred in every facet of our lives, how people are reacting to it, and most importantly, the impact for brands and businesses.

In every part of society, individuals are engaged in quiet acts of ‘anarchy’, hence the title, ‘Anarchist in Slippers’. However, the outtake from all this isn’t a gloomy one. Chaos creates opportunity, and chaos demands creativity. Now more than ever a business or brand has permission to evolve, rethink how they engage with their audience, and consider radical new offerings. In this research, Rothco, part of Accenture Interactive, set out to try and gauge all the change around us. In this, they ask, have we been overestimating it, or worse are we lagging behind culture?

This event is exclusive to IoD Ireland members and is free of charge.
