IoD Evening Briefing: Tax, Trade and Change - Implications for Budget 2020 and Beyond

12 September 2019 5:00pm

As we look ahead to the end of 2019, the world is in flux. International taxation issues, scrutinised for many years, are moving towards more concrete discussions and, potentially, conclusions. Global trade is more volatile, and we look set for a more disruptive Brexit than was hoped. All of this against a rapidly changing world, with climate and technology very much to the fore in shaping the government and business agenda.

Ireland stands at a very particular point in all of this movement, with very specific challenges in each of the areas of taxation, trade, and changes resulting from climate change and technological advancement. What does this mean for Budget 2020? And what does it all suggest in turn for Irish businesses who are planning ahead?

Mark Kennedy, Managing Partner, Mazars, will discuss these key issues, and share his insights and experience at this briefing.

Registration

Registration will take place from 17:00 with the briefing beginning at 17:15 sharp, followed by Q&A and refreshments.
