IoD Breakfast Briefing - The board's role in managing and protecting reputation through a crisis

02 November 2017 7:30am

The world around us is changing dramatically and during this digital evolution the value of reputation is more important now that it ever was. However, recent research indicates that less than 40% of boards have a communications plan in place to address a crisis. No company would think of operating without insurance but yet why do so many not put an insurance plan in place for their reputation?

James Dunny, FleishmanHillard, has worked with many local and international businesses and will provide an overview for business leaders on how crisis communications has changed, what the emerging trends are and what companies and directors need to do in order to help mitigate against significant reputational damage when the inevitable crisis hits.

Registration

Registration and tea & coffee from 7.30am with the briefing beginning at 8.00am sharp.

Places will be allocated on a first come basis.

CPD: IoD events may be eligible for CPD, including Chartered Director CPD, please check with your relevant professional body
