Overview

We are delighted to invite you to join an upcoming webinar titled, 'Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive: What Directors Need to Know and Do', with Éamon Ó Cúiv, Partner, McCann FitzGerald LLP. The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is a key element of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues. The Directive means that companies will soon be required to publish detailed information on sustainability matters. This will commence in four stages, with the first one being in 2025. The aim of the CSRD is to increase a company’s accountability, prevent divergent sustainability standards, and ease the transition to a sustainable economy.

This webinar will provide an overview of the key elements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, and what directors will need to be aware of and action. The session will also touch on other key pieces of ESG legislation, such as the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and the taxonomy legislation.

The IoD Briefings series is sponsored by Accenture. We are delighted to work with Accenture as the exclusive sponsor of the IoD Ireland Briefings Series in 2023.

This event is exclusive to IoD Ireland members, and is free of charge.
