Application Process, Costs & Upcoming Dates
The application process for the Chartered Director Programme is a two-step process:
Step One - Applicants should complete an Expression of Interest Form. Please note that completion of an Expression of Interest Form does not guarantee a place on the Programme, nor does it place any obligation on the applicant to accept a place on the Programme.
Step Two - Following receipt of the Expression of Interest Form, applicants will be contacted by Programme Director, Eileen Gleeson, C Dir, to discuss their application. This completes the process and applicants will then be kept informed of future rounds of place offers for upcoming cohorts.
The costs for the Chartered Director Programme (inclusive of the Certificate and the Diploma in Company Direction) are:
€13,150 for IoD Ireland members (For 2020 programmes)
€13,645 for non members (For 2020 programmes)
The Programme fee includes tuition, documentation, examination entry fees, tea/coffee and lunches on module days and also included in the course fee are the evening dinners which take place on specified dates during the programme. A non-refundable deposit is required on booking a place. All Programme fees are payable in advance of the Programme start and a cancellation policy applies.
Having earned the Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction, Programme participants may move forward (subject to eligibility criteria) to phase three of the Chartered Director Programme and become a registered Chartered Director (CDir). The above costs do not include enrolment fees (£720 stg + VAT 20%) on a candidates admission as a registered Chartered Director.
Upcoming available dates
The next available cohort for the Chartered Director Programme will be Cohort 59 which will begin on 27th January 2020.
Place offers for Cohort 59 will shortly be circulated to those who have completed the application process.
