EU Green Paper - Audit Policy: Lessons from the Crisis
Date: 10 November 2010The European Commission has recently issued a consultation - 'Green Paper on Audit Policy: Lessons from the Crisis.' The Green paper asks questions in relation to scope of audit, independence of auditors, oversight of auditors, appointment and remuneration of auditors, and, the perceived dominance of the 'Big 4' in the plc market.
The consultation is open until 8th December 2010.
